About This Course

The 'FAB: Microcredentials and the use of MOOCs in HEIs' course is part of the  Capacity Building Training Workshop of the Erasmus+ CBHE project “Master’s programme in Family Business Management (FAB) that took place in June 2022 in Cambodia and in the Philippines.

It summarizes all topics and presentations that were shared among project partners and it is a useful tool for those who did not attend the workshop but are interested in finding out more about the subject.

The online course is addressed to professors, academics, staff members, and administrative staff of Higher Education Institutions from the Philippines, Malaysia, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, and Cambodia focuses on the following topics:

• The use and importance of micro-credentials & MOOCs in HEIs.

• The development of the micro-credentials ecosystem in HEIs through MOOCs.

• MOOC design: The example of the FAB Virtual Learning Environment.

Last but not least a practical session on how participants can design their own MOOCs using the FAB VLE is being provided through tutorial videos.

Vassiliki Chatzipetrou

VASSILIKI CHATZIPETROU is the Co-Founder & Director of the EU & International Cooperation Department of ReadLab. She holds a BA in International and European Studies from the Department of International and European Studies, University of Piraeus, Greece and an MA in War Studies from King’s College London, University of London, UK. She has been a Visiting Researcher at the Department of Political Science, University of Florida, US, in the framework of the US State Department exchange program for Scholars “Study of the United States Institute on Foreign Policy”.

Stefanos Vagenas

STEFANOS VAGENAS is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of ReadLab P.C. His educational background includes a MSc in Artificial Intelligence & Advanced Computational Systems and a MSc in Telecommunications from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece. He holds a BSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

Pinelopi Kroustali

PINELOPI KROUSTALI is an EU Project Manager at ReadLab. She holds a BA in International and European studies, (Un. of Piraeus/Greece) and an LLM in Public International Law (National and Kapodistrian University of Athens/Greece).
